Minimal Time Lapse / Minimi passaggi del tempo

Each panorama in this series contains a short passage of time within areas of consolidated memory, such as museums, gardens, memorials, or personal spaces. The gaze moves left to right, as in reading a text. The subjects chosen for the works are relevant for the curiosity of the late XVIII century traveler focused on the gathering of naturalistic and historical knowledge and (re)definitions of taste. This often included a fascination with the incomplete and the infinite. Poems by Elisa Biagini, with whom I visited most of these places, offer a non-didascalic reading, sort of like a short guide through the place in the picture.
